About PokéPrint
PokéPrint—"the printable Pokémon fansite"—is a Pokémon fansite that was founded in 2010.
Focus
PokéPrint's main focus is providing players of the Pokémon video games with printable resources, such as checklists and guides. While the information itself is not unique to PokéPrint, our resources are designed to be both cost-effective and environmentally-friendly by using less ink and paper than if the same information was printed directly from another website.
In addition to printable resources, PokéPrint has expanded to also feature a range of original downloadable content for smart devices, such as wallpapers and custom cursors. These downloads are exclusive to PokéPrint, so you won't find them anywhere else!
History
PokéPrint originally opened under the name "Takharii's Stuff" on October 6, 2010, its sole purpose to provide Pokémon video game players with printable checklists of each Pokémon's location in a specific game. More video game-related printable content was added over time, including TM/HM and item locations, and miscellaneous printable guides and checklists. The site also expanded to include TCG set checklists.
Takharii's Stuff was re-branded slightly the following year. The site's name was changed from "Takharii's Stuff" to "Takharii.com" and the obtained the domain to match. With the re-branding came a completely overhauled design to match the new identity.
Takharii.com was completely reworked in 2014. The name was changed to "PokéPrint" to emphasise the fact that this is a Pokémon fansite, and also because it is easier to spell. With the re-branding came a new design featuring Flygon, and TCG set checklists became the site's priority while video game-related content was put on the backburner.
PokéPrint was closed down at the end of 2018 when I decided to stop personally collecting Pokémon cards. It became difficult to stay motivated to continue creating content for the site when I myself no longer had a personal interest in said content.
In late 2020, PokéPrint was revived after two years of being offline, and the site's focus was pushed back to Pokémon video game content. TCG-related printable content is currently unavailable on the site, as a way to help me focus on creating content that I actually use myself. TCG set checklists may be re-uploaded in the future, but for now, the site's focus is on video game-related checklists and guides.
With the 2020 revival came the addition of Pokémon-related downloads for computers and smart devices, such as wallpapers and custom cursors. These were added as a way to further flesh-out the site and provide something that appeals to a wider portion of the Pokémon fanbase.
